For the best experience, yes. However, you can share read-only trip summaries with non-users via a web link.

Yes, completely. Every feature is free right now: shared itineraries, group chat, polls and voting, smart expense splitting, live location sharing, travel games, and curated destination guides. No credit card required.

The core app is free while we grow. If we introduce an optional Pro plan later, the features you use today will stay free.

No. Just sign up with your email or Google account and start planning, there is nothing to pay.

Add an expense, choose who paid and who splits, and Alongo calculates who owes whom automatically.

Never. Your location data is encrypted and only shared with your trip group.
