Quick facts
The dry season (northeast monsoon) from December to April brings the sunniest skies, calmest seas and best underwater visibility - and the highest prices. The wet season (May to November) is hotter and more humid with short tropical downpours, but quieter, cheaper, and the best time to see manta rays and whale sharks.
